Lawl. you cant compare this to minecraft and say its better. Its based off mc and the gameplay and mechanics are extremely different. its melons and watermelons their similar... but not. It looks cool though. I'd try it if it was a bit cheaper its supposed to be around $15

Don't like the side scrolling, not as complicated or as deep as minecraft, the landscapes, no matter how interesting in 2D, will never be cooler than the landscapes in Minecraft, aka, 3D.

Floating islands
Underground juNgles
Boss fights
Moar weapons and apparel
This is some of the things i can just say off the bat Just give this game a try and u WILL LOVE IT

Nearly a month and a half, reading this post is complete bullshit. Terraria is a great game. Minecraft isn't better nor Terraria. It's all personal preference. I prefer Terraria cause it actually has objectives other than Minecraft (not counting mods or user-made maps!). Although I will give Notch a point for adding Adventure Mode later on, can't wait. Terraria is awesome, and deserves the attention it gained. Everyone complains it's a Minecraft rip-off. Even though Minecraft was VERY similar to another Sand-box game just like it. It was shut down due to hackers, I forgot the name of the game though, it's on Google somewhere though. Terraria and Minecraft may seem similar (sand-box, build, ect.) But that's like saying fucking CoD copied off of Doom. They're both the same genre, but different concepts.
