testing some new wheels this week

well they just arrived.. finally geez

a few things when i said hard rubber core i mean like really hard plasic-ish rubber core
and i need to machine them a bit still
they will not fit a fork right now they are WIDE
but i just bent a fork and threw them on for laughs
and they are so smooth even with internal bearings (which suck) that slide side to side a bit
and the urethane is pretty hard but i haven't really tested the grip yet
i will post pics after machining

sounds like they would wobble and bend. if ur gonna make wheels, make them plastic or preferably, metal cored. but most importantly, amek them SOFT LIKE YAKS i miss yaks.

do they fit normal 608 bearings? or do they have some weird internal bearing thing?
whats the hardness of the 'urethane and the core plastic?
what kind of plastic are the cores made of?
what are the dementions? (diameter and width)?
im asuming they were made by one of those companies that makes custom wheels for industrial stuff, but how much did they cost and what company made them?

pretty cool stuff, i've been thinking about doing this for a while but i never really got around to it. good luck dude, i cant wait to see how these turn out.

wow mat alot of questions

no they don't fit 608 bearings they have internal bearings

that i am going to remove when i get them and then i am having 5/16 holes machined in them to the correct depth to fit 608 bearings

at this time i have no idea the actual hardness of the rubber or the urethane because i do not know the company that produces them i have asked the two companies that sell them and no one can tell me exact numbers only that they can support 275 lbs per wheel
and razor wheels are rated at about 95lbs a piece

so i am going to take a risk.and the cores are hard rubber not plastic, plastic is brittle and rubber flexes now the question is how much flex?

they are 4inch by 1 1/2inch and the tread is 1 inch
also going to machine that half inch or quarter inch per side off so then they will fit.

well honestly i am modifying a currently produced wheel not ordering a custom one (yet) i need 3000 dollars or so to produce my own through those custom urethane companies.

well i am paying 15$a piece and i bought four so i am taking a rick in hopes that it can work. hope i filled you all in, and no i haven't gotten them yet they are on the way as we speak

You are terribly wrong. I don't even want to know where did you get that information, because Razor pro wheels can withstand waaaay more than 95 lbs, because the whole scooter is rated 220lbs anyway. People land stuff into manuals, into sketchy landings and stuff, which means they could probably stand like at least 250-300 lbs (per wheel) of pressure AT LEAST.

Plus, i have a hunch that rubber core ain't gonna feel solid and it could maybe dehub off the axle on a very skechy landing? Idk. Ride and destroy. Literally.

i just said 'rated' not can only with-stand and your right i didn't specify i meant those ten spoke (or whatever)
A model wheels not pro wheels
