Link Boards, Box Cars and finger snowboards.
Link Boards were just 3 layers of cardboard, designs with textas, then taped it up so it was nice and strong. We did tricks jumping into the sandpit, grinding down the slide, and sliding down the grassy hills at the back of the school. We got bruised like mad whenever we Link Boarded, no fearrrr. Link Boards were so cool, that some stupid fat kid named Kyle said HE invented them, and he was just jumping off a bench with his lame friends and not even landing on the board. Me and my OG Daniel were like PFFT W/E and did slamma jammas into the sandpit. Brutal.
Box Cars were food boxes and we spent half an hour making them into "cars". We tied strings to the front, put sand in them, then pulled them over jumps. The sand would make them jump extra far and look cool with the sand blowing out, but after a while they would get trashed. Sometimes a dumb cunt named Connor would try and kick our cars as we pulled them. Fuck I wanted to wrap a branch around his face.
Finger snowboards were pretty simple. Make a snowboard out of cardboard, then either make a thing for your finger to go in, or put glue on the deck. They were alright.
Only me, Daniel and a few others would do that stuff. Everyone else would play Age Of Empires.
