Matt Pate for the tailwhip rewind.

Martin actually was a bit of a late bloomer. He used to have a website, and he came on to the scene a little later..and his videos were nothing more than flat tailwhips, 360s, and double tailwhips off homemade kickers. He had one of the first websites where people could send and have their videos posted on. Some of my earliest clips were on his site, and the first footage of Matt Andrus could first be seen on his website.

And i def. know where your coming from Brandon. Matt did in fact have a lot of tricks, that to this day were still never seen.. He wanted claims to almost every trick that was done or about to be done. But a lot of his was taped. And im only naming the ones ive seen.

Brian Boston

I got myself banned.

Sweet trick its not something to stamp your name on...

who was first for whip bar whip, and bar whip bar?

I know i did whip bar whip, Jesse did bar whip bar, and i dont know if i ever saw anyone else do them. I did it because Tim used to try them all the time but i don't think he ever stomped it.

Yea a handful of people can land them now. As well as other 3 trick air combos.

But as for the firsts..i really dont know. Brian Boston was the first person i ever saw whip bar whip, and tripple to bar.

You and Jesse might actually be the first to do those and have them on video.

if you mean legsweep, they've been done for a while now. Plus people have done them in 360's, and I remember seeing one flat... not the most legit one though haha.

razorrider639. I am basing my answers on people that had proof of the tricks they did. Not someone who said something who saw something, when it was first done somewhere.

Bartwists were first done by one of the French ID riders. Could be Jandiv. But it was after the video that had them, that they spread over here.

what about the bartwist?

jon reyes im pretty sure.

about martin- matt pate was literally raping everything while martin was still in his beginner stage. Martin kinda reminds me of BK, both of them are some of the SICKEST rideres to this day but both of them had a slow start for a while.

I was probally one of the first to flip a kicker
-barspin fingerwhip barspin(that i know of?)
-tailwhip barspin to manuals
-etc?

thats all i can think of.

lol no. i can't remember if it was phil or coedie but one of them did handplants over a ledge. and only a small number of riders actually have legit inverted handplants on quarters.

finger to manual- toy?
