I don't reli want scooterin to get in the xgames to be honest, Id rather see the occasional televised comp (montreux e.t.c) and tour videos on tv. i wouldnt want the sport to be all about money, itd just wreck the meaning of riding- having fun

-Inward will continue to become popular and will be the leading company in freestyle parts manufacturing.
-Avg wheel size will stay between 100 and 110, but 125 will gain in popularity.
-Most videos will continue to suck. I don't see any artsy DVD videos like in skate or bmx within 5 years.
-Micro will eventually hit the nail on the head and make a decent complete.
-Eaglesport will remain the leading wheel company, and branch out into other areas.
-Razor Pro Models will remain the standard deck everyone uses for several years.
-Somebody will make custom brakes.
-Smaller bar sizes will make a comeback.
-Dakota Shuetz will be the poster child of the first Scooter X-Games event.
-There will be more a legit tour, in a bus or RV.

and Matt Mckeen will pick up a sunglasses sponsor. hah.

-Made for dirt and trails scooters will arise.

If this happens I will kill myself.

Most of the "trails" scooter riders will just fuck someone's hard work up.

Just leave trails to bikes yeah?

Thank you.

Are you kidding me?
Inward will never be big, I'm sorry, they capatlized on the fact that SR stopped making forks for a little while. They haven't made anything new or revolutionary so I HIGHLY doubt they will ever be the MAIN manufacturer.
100s will DEFINITELY go out of style.
Why will videos suck for another 5 years? They're already getting better.
Micro will never get big, they're about 10 times too expensive.
Razor pros...ughhh, no.
Smaller bar sizes will NOT make a comeback. Just cause you want it to happen, doesn't mean it will happen.
You've got to be kidding me about Dakota.

Be realistic guys. Some of that makes absolutely NO sense what so ever.

ummm.. well lets see...
-i think that some random company will randmly come out with a new descent deck..... but it will be sorta expensive and not everyone will get it (like brass knucles sorta) the business will probally dissapear over time as the people tht started it slowly lose intrest in scootering
-I think tht eagle sport is gonna continue making more parts and other stuff besides wheels. i know they are truly dedicated to make better and more parts. the parts will probally be descent prices too and they will become very popular very quick like their wheels.
idk thts wat i think

Here's the funny thing. Who do you think made the first double armed fork for a scooter?! Sure as hell wasn't Andrew. Ricky Wernicke and myself made the concept just by drilling and bolting a suspension fork. Either way, it is by NO standard, an original idea, obviously stolen from motorcycles and BMX. That's where I got the idea of converting the suspension fork into a double armed fork. Answer racing forks.
I agree though, Micro will never go anywhere. And I don't see French ID as an innovative company either. I mean fuck, their concept scooter is a powdercoated Pro Model with their logo's slapped all over it, that's innovative?!?!
The Pro Models, if they continue to ride the way I have rode them so far, will satisfy.
As for smaller bars, yeah, never will happen. As far as I see with this online scene, people frown upon you if you don't run 18+ wide. I personally think anything over 18 wide, is overboard.

Another prediction...
A company will release a tubular frame with mounts for wooden and metal decks. This is a good way to eliminate snapping decks. If it is designed correctly, it won't even bend. This design will resemble a KnowPed and/or GrowPed as far as the tubular design. Of course, designes differently, just same concept. This will also open up the door for mounts to add grindplates, so less stress being created on the frame.

French ID is going places. I've heard things about there decks coming out and it sounds ill. Their forks are solid and light as fuggg. The aluminum bars have ill gussets. Sure the painted pro is weird, but whatever. I see them going far.

As for the tubular fork comment, Andrew was essentially first to MASS PRODUCE aftermarket scooter parts pretty much. I think that's what matters. Anybody can make a couple sets of forks, but not many have the time and will-power to constantly crank out high quality products.

haha sorry josh i have to disagree with you i think anything under 18 looks horrible! not gonna lie but watching people run 13 wides now days makes scooter look like a fk'n joke unless your realy small is the onlything that can make up for it. 16's could be ok if your a major street boss.

i wanna see decks grow up. EVERY scooter deck out right now is a disgrace. i think theyd be better if thy were a tad wider and longer
