The Future Of Scooting.

Why was this locked?
And Jamie; we're currently in set-up mode. Yes, it has grown alot, but soon it'll start to plateau, it has to, companies will stop being created, and there will be less and less products that leave a gap in the scooter market. We're almost at the point of BMX/Skate aftermarket parts; think about how many parts are released every year for bmx/skating; it really isn't many at all.
We're almost at that plateau, then companies will start to look at furthering the sport and strengthening parts, rather than creating new product

scooter racing will never happen. too stupid and too gay.

Haha, Oh god don't get me wrong, I don't want it to happen. But it still could, everything seems to turn into racing at some point in time. Even skateboarding got downhill racing as a sport add-on style thing. I still wouldnt watch it.

Mountain Scooting on the other hand, If they ever made decent scooters worth of off road, I'd give that a go ;)

yeah i think 10 years maybe a little bit longer maybeee scootering will be more respected and more popular. just look back 10 yrs and see how much we've progressed since then. so another 10 yrs i think we'll be good

The future of scooters includes jet propelled scooters, doing tricks miles above the ground, and no tailwhips/scooter flips (because obviously that would mess up the jet and which way it is pointing).

I was about to say the same thing =]

But when riders are entering the AST, Then odds are they better get used to huge trips and I'm sure 90% of people with the chance to go would.

As for the Scooter/Bmx fanbase comparison, I know its an absolutely huge difference. But what better way to increase our numbers than entering tours?
the tour exec's aren't gonna just let scooters in to make them bigger...they let them in when they're big, when they know its worth it. Having scooters in the dew tour would be a complete waste of time and money for alli/mtn dew.

hopefully the RTG tour will keep getting bigger.
more companies will be able to fly riders out to comps, maybe even do roadtrips.
in a year or so there'll be more custom completes that people can buy.

i just realized, you can now have a 100 percent aftermarket scooter, one with zero stock parts. wow. i didn't think that would come so soon.
yea i noticed that a few days ago!
