The "new" district deck

the decks SHOULD be welded at the bottom, and the headube SHOULD go all the way through but they don't. ryan's test decks held up for months, and he shreds harder than a LOT of you out there. these are supposedly going to be stronger than the test decks. so everybody should just quit the trash talking and wait until they're released. then we'll all find out how strong (or weak) these decks really are.

ok im just saying think about itthe last patch of decks where suposedly lasting months the there relised like 3 of my friends pre order them sent 80 bucks wait weeks for there decks and the relese dates keep changing all that antisipation the they get them spend 30 mins switching all there parts we go the park and within 30 mins all 3 of those decks had major cracks in them thats bull and then everyone goes whats this crap aand they go well sorry it was the company who made them in china's fault so basicly your all fu**ed cause we arent going to warentey them so we just made thousands of $ and thousands of kids got fu**ed thers more district decks in the broken scooter thread them the my scooter thread it would take so much for me to have faith in a company after that so ill stop taking crap about there parts but i dont see why i should because i dont feel that there at all a legit company but thats just my opinon and no im not just trying to get free parts i just wanted someone outside of the company to test it because if someone one the team breaks it then the can just not tell anyone and no one will know and i have nothing against marcel i just think there was problems with the decks but they wanted to get the decks out so the ones that came from china wherent tested enough.
and i dont need a free deck i ride a phoenix!

ok, no. the productions were rushed, the metal was too thin. that problem is now fixed. and you are DEFINITELY over-exaggerating. there are no way three districts all cracked within a half hour. that's bullshit. and you're an idiot, because some decks were replaced. and even if you don't think they're legit, they're doing WAY more for the scootering community than you ever will. there were problems with the deck, everybody knows that. those problems are fixed. this batch will be better. the decks kept being pushed back because productions were messed up and marcel was trying to make sure they would be strong but they weren't. then they got pushed back because of a volcano eruption. blame mother nature, not china. they wanted to get the decks out so kids like you would shut up and stop complaining about everything. i believe marcel bought a whole new factory, so these decks will be way higher quality. higher quality aluminum. higher quality welds. thicker material. all around better.

i believe 3 districts could break in a half hour..
If you made an 8 stair out of district decks simply walking up and down it for a half hour would crack the headtube off

why am i an idiot im just saying my opinon? oh and mother nature didnt make the decks so im not going to blame her. and i hate talking shit about people ive never meet over the internet but really did u not get the part where i said i have nothing against marcel??? read what i said and stop geting so pissed. oh and kids like me ? wtf, im done with this its stupid im tired of kids like u standing up for a company that relesed bad parts then blames the scooter comunity for rushing them mabey they shouldent have but them out for pre order so soon?

I know how hes saying theyre "better", but seriously. District is ----- and it breaks. I havent had the deck, but i have the bars Even their bars cant hold up properly. The aluminum is so thick you cant fit barends in it, even if you take a belt sander to them for ten minutes. And even being that its rediculously thick, both of the gussets are cracked in several places. Ive had them for like a month in a half.
District = FAIL.
unless they get a warranty for the new decks... just incase you dont wanna waste 80 bucks. But who knows, their new decks might be decent.
Are they still made overseas?

ok u guys r being too hard on district, the only reason the decks fucked up was because the chinese dont know how to weld. i have an old district now and the welds are sloppy and a couple of them dont even touch both parts, but now theyre making sure they dont screw up.and im pretty sure theyre not using china now. the only reason im riding it is cuz its reeeaally light and it was given to me by a friend.

Maybe they're thick because they're ALUMINUM. Buffs were the same way, you couldn't use most bar ends on them. If they were thinner, they would bend easier.
