i might be one of those kids but i have gone to ridewire and i do get annoyed with those annoying kids. i do have respect for the original people. i dont go talking shit to everybody. but i haven'y used sr very much lately and i have been on ridewire more. just becaise it is a new start and i in a few years i would be one of the respected. thats my opinion. but i do think that kids should be banned. just the immature fagots

Stan gets it haha. I know what you mean Mike. But we gotta face that things won't go back to how they were before. We can only hope that the next new wave of scooter kids isn't as bad as the recent one. The sport is still very young, but as far as the community, we are already caught up with sports such as BMX and Skateboarding. The old school BMX scene is starting to die and is right now replaced by riders that go bigger with better bikes. But the new wave for them is the weight weenie kids making 17lb bikes. The new wave for skaters is a bunch of "street riding" posers who can only ollie, and do the rotation of other flip tricks.
Just like them, we have some OG kids who are still legit, but the new wave will eventually take over. I suppose you could also compare it to music. Some of these analogies are a stretch but the basic point is that the sport is going to change, and unfortunately there's nothing we can do about it.
Ahhh the days when all bars were custom made for each person because companies would only get a few orders per day, and an SR fork, buff bars, eagles, and a razor pro deck was a beast mode setup.
I wasn't around in the OG days, so I have no clue what it was like. But I do realize that our sport has problems.
So, I am going to try to be one of the noobs that will provide a new breath to the sport, not a memver of the wave of kids who aren't serious and give scooters a bad name.
I'm not very good, but I'll try my hardest to become talented, or at least respected.
And have craploads of fun on the way.

I think that the whole attitude of "Suddenly, SR and everyone in it is gay now and I'm leaving" is bullshit. If you don't like the forums any more, then don't use them, it's as simple as that. You don't have to make a thread whining about how everything is different now because the fact of the matter is, that's life.

but i gotta agree, i mean i have been in the sport since around 2006, in the og days, and it was a lot better as far as the people. all the little 12 year old n00bs on here are annoying as fuck. i mean this thread has been an eye-opener. its really kinda true.

3. Never tell people they suck or that you are better then them, rather, give them advice to help them improve.

I have seen all of these rules broken. Yes these rules were set for the old SR but they still apply. I dont know what has happend on SR but it certainly needs to stop. Every time I come on here i see hating, swearing, pervert humor and other things that are on the list... I think SR needs a major clean up.
