OK, who all remembers when they bought their first aftermarket part? For me it was a yak metal core and a blue and red yak and oh man did i feel like hot shit. It was just the realization that you've stepped up, passed the level of just riding a stock scooter, it made you feel like you were a part of the sport instead of just taking part. It kind of opened up my mind and opened a gateway for me making me realize "hey, theres more to this than im getting and i want to be a part of that"

yep, mine was griptape, i felt like i had the best scooter

i remember in like 09 or '10 when i scootered i took apart my folding mechanism and got my dad to weld it for me.it was like i had the sickest scooter ever. then i broke the welds and thought i was like hardcore. lmfao. then i quit and started again in june
