lighter aluminum head/neck, possibly fitting an integrated headset

no way. scooter wheels dont absorb as much shock as bike tires and the fact that aluminum + integrated is bad to begin with. but if you really want to, id suggest going with an internal headset rather than integrated.

Ehh, Ive been told that bikers tend to switch to integrated headsets and there are more frames fitting them made (In fact, my friend who owns a bmx shop has hardly any non integrated headset frames), so I guess that regular headsets are becoming less popular and thus, might become highly priced or not widely available.

And another thing is that: if people want them on their scooters, why not make it available for them?

This is pretty much my dream scooter + perfect scooter, the promodel is really strong now because of micro reinforcement pipes. also i weld the folding. so yea i had promodel for 2 weeks and i managed to bent my dropouts with 5 days and another days i cracked a dropout, so i it got weld + i added micro pipes, now i do pretty big gaps and i see no problems, nothing isnt bent and stuff. its a heavy as hell, probly 3 stock promodels lol, if not then 2 for shure.

but i would say that is the strongest scooter ive ridden/seen :], i also had a micro bullet, it was soo bad, i like did 3 stairset and foldy got bent lol and madis managed to bent pipes also

are the micro rienforcments heavey or somthing?, or is it beacause of the buffs, sr fork and what not?

BMX frames are 4130 so they can withstand the abuse of bearings directly impacting the frame, aluminum scooters can't. Aluminum is WAY softer so the headtube would be shot in like a week. The only solution would be to make a chromoly scooter which I probably will do one of these days just to say I did it but I have no intentions of ever making a steel production scooter. I think it would just be heavy and retarded. Aluminum is the only way to go so therefore standard headset cups are the only way to go and normal headset will never go away because the BMX industry is tiny in comparison to all of bicycling. Pretty much all road, mountain and cruiser bikes still use standard headsets so they will always be around.
