The point of no more progression.

Will it ever be reached? I mean, will there ever be a point where there aren't any more huge tricks done that haven't been done before. I look at BMX and I think it has to happen soon. Kids in houston are throwing frontflip whips over spines and I just don't see how much crazier shit can get. The same can also be said for scootering although I still see progression coming big time.

In your opinion, will skateboarding, bmx, or scooters ever hit this point?

Impossible. The sport is only limited to the skill of the rider and the location they ride in.

I think skateboarding may have hit that point. Maybe not. The problem with skating is that no one seems to want to try new things. All you see in skating now is ledge tricks.

Yep. That pretty much sums it up.
As long as riders keep riding then there is no limit.

Riding with coedie teaches you that there is no point where progression stops.
Coedie rides every second day or so, and most of the time, learns a new tricks every time he rides, or every second time.
Tell me how, after riding AT LEAST 2000-3000 times in 9 years, you could constantly learn new tricks..
Scooters will continue progressing i'd say, whether its just the size of ramps tricks are done on, or just plain new tricks.

No, progression can't stop. If someone lands a double tailwhip backflip then they try a triple tailwhip backflip. People just keep progressing, it can never stop.

not to mention the fact that scooters, styles, riders, and parks/street spots are always changing. new and different things are always becoming possible.

It's eventually gonna get to the point where doubles flat are gonna be equivalent to a tailwhip, flip whip to a flip, and so on...

Shit's just getting ridiculous these days.. In a good way though

you think scootering has hit a speed bump? its progressing exponentially dude.

i think our sport might be slowing down soon though. with new, heavier parts, tricks are going to be a lot harder than they were before with stock parts.

but we will always be progressing. you can always do it higher, faster, longer, lower. there is still a TON of room for progression in this sport though, and we will never stop progressing.

you take airing out a qp bsck n the day no above coping maybe 3 feet out was soooo gnar now people are doing 540 down side whips lke 4 feet above cooping the flat been 5.......... so on and so on shyts might slow down trick wise but boosting and shyt will go forever

new heavier parts are not making tricks harder or fewer things possible, they are making MORE things possible. they allow you to do many more things that would break stock parts.
