Kids saying skatings done progressing= no way.

Am i really the only person thats gonna bring up riding switch and opposite tricks? Barely any one does these and it happens only like 3 times in a vid when people do. Everyone seriously needs to start doing these because its gonna open up huge possibilities in riding
my TD part probably had something opposite in nearly every clip. opposite stuff is probably what i'm best at.

danny, now why would you say you saw the video without posting it? haha.

its the same with movies and music. its going to get harder and harder to be creative. how many new story lines can there be in a movie before they all start getting similar? how many new songs can come out that sound original and unheard of?

While we're on that metaphor.
New genre's are created, and have been created for 1000's of years.
I can see a few new styles becoming popular, but thats it really. Once the tricks start to dry up, people will try to invent their own style, then a whole new aspect would open up.
It is kinda unlikely, and it could only really happen once or twice.
But that would kinda help progression if we slow down.

The thing i'm annoyed about with scooters is the lack of all around riders..
There are little to no riders who mix styles, i've never seen someone go huge on park, then do some crazy handrail, then destroyed a manny pad.
I'd really love to see it.

exactly, the world has being around for a long time and will probably be around for much longer. who knows how long exactly, but most forms of music have already being put into a genre, the only way new genres will be created is by merging different sounds, which again is not an infinite number. the only way music will keep progressing for awhile is by advances in technology.

and for the last thing you said, your talking about progression as a rider to become more complete, sure thats progression as a rider but not really progressing the boundary's of scooting.

People will keep doing bigger and better things, and just new things altogether. Look at Olympic sports, many have been around for thousands of years and people keep getting faster and faster at say running, long jump, pole vaulting, swimming, and all of those there is only one aspect to expand on. With scooters (as well as any other extreme sport) people can keep doing new tricks and combos, and bringing them to new, better, bigger spots.

John panaccione is basically all around when you ride with him he just kills it in airs and big tricks then you'll be riding something small like a rail or a manny pad and hell kill it and he also is gettin alot better at street and shit

theres no end to prgression

say, someone soon lands the first 7 whip yeah

that in however longs time could be taken to a 8 set possibey

the mega ramp will become a possiblilty, airs will be huge on that, then whips will be added, thn bars in with the whips.

maybe im getting very ahead of myself and in some cases impossible but you get the jist i think

Until everybody starts landing every big/tech trick/combo into fakie one-handed X-up nosemanuals, the progression will never stop.

I actualy think there will be a limit, theres only so much you can learn in a life time.
and the same for most people
there'll come a point when the fastest progressers will be able to say triple flair by the time they quit, but progression takes time, and we have limited time in our lifes. we can only progress for as long as we are fit to ride.
