So i know alot of people have small questions that they need an answer for fast but its not thread worthy, so this is a thread where you can ask any question about photography/filming/editing and people can come in and try to answer your question.

Well ive never used Cactus 1s but they are basically the same as PT-04s which are reliable enough to buy.

Cause im getting the xs in about a month or so...
and cactuses and prolly one flash.
Maybe a nice lense if i got enough!

If your gonna blow it up or something.
And its a little clearer.'
if you use the same stock lens the xs will have better results.
look it up and do somereasarch!
Ive been doing research for like a month

ya same.

you WILL NOT see any result in a normal picture because of the mp rating. if your print it out, then at a certain size you will see a difference but thats mainly for magazines and such.

i shot with a 4mp camera for a year making prints and i never had problems cameras these days with so many megapixels is overkill in my opinion
im pretty sure its a marketing strategy for camera manufacturers for the ignorant people who think megapixels is everything

if I use my Metz flash/recievers/transmitter on my f60 do you think it will work ok?

wow chandler gtfo out of this section if you seriously think a FUCKING FLIP is better than any mini dv camera. id seriously rather film with a pencil sharpener (dont ask how) but yeah...

Yea ive used the flip personally. Its not good. Its laggy, But better than nothing.
I got a sony mini dv. i love it. really good for the money

the sony has pretty good reviews, and my mom has it and the quality is pretty good. i dont have any footy or anything on it, though. she doesnt let me use it so i was going to buy one for myself, i wanted to see if there was anything better that i could get for under or around $175. like, whats the best possible camcorder i could buy with 175. and no, not go try and get lucky and buy something used on ebay.
