Does any one have any useful tips on building ramps? Any precautions, or tutorials. Maybe some helpful "How-Tos". Post them and anything that's related to building ramps here. I saw a thread like this on PinkBike and thought SR would benefit from it too.

when i started building my ramp i found that searching helps.
seriously though, search. even youtube and shit. if your making ramps everything SHOULD be common sense.

Im gonna try make the kicker from diyskate but scale it down a bit. im also gonna try make a grind box. Ill post pics in a few weeks if they work.

find/steal pallets. they make excellent flatbottoms on mini ramps after screwin some sheets over them... or decks for a qp... or break em up for the boards.. or make a wallride or sub box or manny pad or grind box from them...jeez theres so many uses for pallets wow
oh an only rich bitches use fresh lumber on ramps. just get crafty and work with whats around u.

i made most of a grind box/manual pad today out of randdom bits of wood lyin round my house. Gonna get some coping tomorrow. Ramp building is basiacally bout findin some bits of wood and creating something decent out of it, its common sense snd creativity.
