MGP= Cheaper, probably needs threadless fork eventually, new bars eventually

Other= Expensive as fuck

I want to make a HIC shim out of a piece of my broken ultra pro bars steertube.
Will it work well, I mean without slippage, as it's made of cromo and not aluminium?

Lumpy, the majority of HIC shims are chromoly. At least all the ones I've had are. Yes it will work fine, I've done it before. It was actually really good.
