if its a threadless fork, slide
the difference between the two is threaded has little threads at the top and is like a screw. threadless means that the top has no threads which make it stronger because of less pressure points.

a stock t tube doesnt hav threads..... it just looks like it does cuz alu is a soft metal... and when u tighten up the clamp to clamp it onto ur forks it dints the alu as the fork metal is stronger (steel)... so just push it on ..... it doesnt matter if you push or twist it on ...
