Theadless headset on threaded fork is loose, HELP!

Alright, so i just installed an origin 8 propulsion headset, (sealed, threadless 1 1/8) on my razor ultra pro. I have the locknut from my old threaded headset on there so it compresses the fork and headset like it should.

the problem is, no matter how tight i make my locknut, after i put my bars on, i still have mad wobbles. It wobbles, but the wheel won't move. If it adjust it just right, the scooter has even more wobbles so it's unrideable.

is there something that i'm missing here? thanks.

first post, thought this was the right spot to put this thread.

tighten it til it's not wobbling anymore without the bars on, then put the bars on and push down hard on them while you tighten the clamp. When I used threaded compression with a threadless headset, I had to carry around a tool so I could tighten my locknut every once and a while. Sucks, But it's what you gotta do sometimes.

did you install the headset correctly? are both bearings the right way and is your fork race seated all they way on the race seat? Also check if the upper race is fitting correctly, just some things to check for when you have a wobbly headset

Well i meant that the wheel didn't move since the headset was so tight.

i fixed the problem... and it was the top cap from my headset. now i have a problem with the locknut staying tight, should i just loc tite it?

Yeah. Just locktite a few of the forks threads. don't use too much.

Also tighten that baby up. I have an origin 8. tighten it so it barely spins when the bars aren't on.
