Haha. I've talked to Phil a few times since he has quit scooters. Ahh back in the day when I called scooter phil on the phone :) hahaha. Such good times, he was seriously a gnarly guy who just happened to be amazing at riding. He had his big tricks that he could throw but always loved his techy stuff with manny's and spins, then had style out the ass with everything. Such a good rider, and just gnarly dude. Said that before, and I'd say it again haha.

O yes it was awsum that he filmed everything himself. shows that he is a great character.

Can't wait to see him ride or even post on SR.

And coedie, use final cut pro to edit yur vids or maybe premiere pro.

I never heard much about him, maybe seen a few random youtube vids of him back in the day but wow, that phil+coedie summer edit was one of the best vids I've ever seen, seriously

haha one thing is phil mite not be fuking good rider but I have to say phils riding is so chill and I love it so much hope he does keep doin he probley won't do it all the time but everynow and then is something:)

I remember back in the day when Phil popped up on SR posting his "sponsor-me" video of his riding, throwing backflips, turndowns, lookbacks, manual combos and 7ft high airs above the coping. Sick.

What Coedie says is true...
i have missed everything...the riding, cruzin around with Tool blaring in my ears..
the warm day, the TURNDOWNS.. even the crashes.

but mostly all you guys..

every night to come on here and see everyone just talking about what they love...
amazes me..
and even all the arguments and fights haha..


everyone of you have so much passion and skill..
doesnt matter if your learning to tailwhip or throwin down fronties outa banks like coedie..


my riding was never like OMG... i was never really in to that, i didn't have many big tricks..

i just loved to move, flowing around.. throwin small tricks here and there..

I didn't ever really consider myself to be a good rider compared to some others out there...
but if theres one thing i wish for is that my riding and videos gave yous some insparation..

ever since i stoped i just have this feeling of emptyness.

even tho it hasnt been that long it feels like a life time.

i just cant wait to get out there and start it all up again.
i am still having some spinal problems but ill have to see how i go with all that!

just want to thank all you guys so much for everything..

i havnt been on SR in along long time and was just curious to see what was new on it. and i read this..

or the first whip bar whip Ive ever seen
or those huge 450 hip transfers

yessss. phil was my inspiration for the whip bar whip, watching him do that amazed me so much. i'd be nowhere whip/bar wise if it wasn't for phil
