threaded fork plus threadless headset idea

I was thinking when running threadless on threaded can't you remove the locknut.push your bars down on that plastic ring and tighten your clamp?eliminating the use of the locknut?

It'll probably loosen over time. Why does no one like the locknut? It works just fine when done properly.

threadless on threaded is pointless and just make sure your bars are cut even on the bottom and pushed all the way down
