Threaded forks idea?

If forks only have like and inch of thread and then like another inch of threadless forktube
before the headset starts, wouldnt that make threaded forks alot stronger? plus some thickness

And it would still have a really weak spot, forks with weak spots are not good.

if threaded forks had uber thick walls (* < .150) they would be okay.
.120 is good too. But thicker would be beast.
