Threaded or Threadless?

I'm fairly new, but what's the difference between threaded or threadless? I'm an intermediate rider (briflips , double tailwhips on pyrimads, stall and drop back in,360, etc.). My birthday is coming up and my forks just bent today when i tried to 180 bri. I'm thinking of getting a threadless fork and just getting a compression kit and all that stuff. But is it worth it?

threaded has threads for a locknut for threaded headsets and compression, which arent very good, but threadless has no threads so it is a little stronger and you can use ics, hic,and scs and run threadless headsets on it. and its definately worth it in the long run. dont make the mistake of buying a threaded fork, like i did
