Aaron. The people i named, will kill in any of the lil categories you named. Thread starter didnt ask for the best in a specific category, he asked for the best...So i assume that he means all around. And all around is what these guys are.

What i'm saying is..
Everyone rides with a different style.
So how can you compare for example, Mckeen and Barrett?
Mckeen is balls out street, Barrett is mind-blowingly tech..
Its impossible to compare them, so you can't have a 'Top 5', even overall..

just so you and everyone know, dan barrett isn't all tech, he goes big too sometimes

is a barspin over a 9 rail tech

and completely opposite, matt mckeen is tech too, whips to manuals and shit like that

oops i didnt see seans earlier post
You'll never understand that so much unless you watch Transit.
Barret goes huge !
And McKeen is so tech in that video, he has so much more of a trick bag then you would think.
He already had a big one to start anyway.

I'm sick of threads like these...
It's impossible to say who is 'the best' as there are so many categories they can be placed in, e.g. Originality, Style, Tricks, Consistency, Smoothness, Street, Park, Tech....etc.
So a straight up top 5 doesn't work..
Very true.

YOU CANT SUM UP THE BEST IN 5 RIDERS

There are clearly ALOT left out
But w/e
No particular order.

Terry Price
Coedie Donovan

(Clearly these guys have been the top in like everyones post because they are simply that.
so I'm choosing not to include them to make mine a bit more interesting.)

Dylan Kasson
- I've never saw someone land every single trick as clean as Dylan does.
John Radtke - Ridiculous air combos just insane.
Twan - Innovative with his bar twists adding a french flare in his riding and could probably flair my cereal bowl.
Matt McKeen - As you watch him for the first time, handrails stick in your head. But theres much more.
Brandon Kilbury - Such a dialed rider. Spins and whips is his claim to fame but hes also insane flat.

Style is a complete different idea.
5 fav. Style riders.

Alex Steadman
Stan Smirnoff
Dylan Kasson
Andrew Brabank
Jeff Sturge

Sorry, I can not make a list of only 5 top riders. That's impossible for me... I would just ask a couple of questions: no Dylan Kasson in the lists? No Martin Nogol? No French scooterers? No European riders in whole? Booo, for shame! lol

i personally dont think terry should be in the top...lol or at least in my top. and i dont go by favoritism at all.

Really?? See reading threw this post I thought just the opposite. I mean, what cant terry do? Although as a street rider i can say i have not seen many clips of himing going real huge, but i mean...

First Dub Back
He throws a healwhip back which i havnt seen many other do at all...
Gorgeouse Scooter fakie nose mannies...never seen anyone else throw... (im prob wrong and im surew ill be corrected on that)
Berrell roll..amoung others but its beautiful...

I mean after watching terry i would have to put him as the most impressive rider to watch..but... I will also say that I think riders who have tendencies one way have a thing for others who have the opposite style. Like for instince if I watch some Brit throw a bunch of backfips with grabs and whips and scooterfakie nose mannies, as someone who has never backflipped and probabley never will ,and rides mostly street.... It is incredibley impressive to watch. On the othe hand I remember kids who i considered twice as good as me telling me after watching some street clips they though i was better them then... riders love the opposite because everyone has the most respect for things that they cant do or even imagine themselves doing. Alot of riders grew up in the park and can throw flairs like they are dub whips out of anything with any vert but taking off flat down something remotely big bugs them out, and jumping into a handrial probably will never grow on their nut sack... It all really depends what you think is the most impressive or "stylish" way of riding, if you can even define the word stylish.

LMFAO

My top 5 riders, personally is easy.. In order.

Price
Mckeen
Kilbury
Donovan
Cary

I like dan and stan and everyone too though i mean shit depends what im in the mood for nahmsayin? ha

And im sorry but bonner in the top 5? damn...crazy...he does throw a mean 9 i guess, and a damngood 7....but still...idk

Id also point out that Broussard was one of the most entertaining riders i have seen live. I remember just sittign and watching him at that park in Philly that night before tic 07.. does anyone else remember that woodward park in the mall that night..and then that late night sesh after tic at that shitty little skatepark? Boston was there...he might be up there on that list too...

5. Steadman
I'm sorry, no offense to him, I think even he'd agree, but there is no way steadmen is one of the best. He does extremely simple tricks, which I honestly think is pretty cool cause he as a good style, but I would never put him in the top 5 riders.

k, well what you don't realize is that Alex is one of the smoothest most stylish riders I've ever seen in my life. And that style not only requires extremely hard work and the mental capacity to figure out how to ride so smoothly, but God-given talent. This kid has it, and you just don't see it. those are MY top 5 riders. deal.
