I'm going to California for my fall break in a couple of weeks and I really want to bring my scooter. I'm not exactly sure how I should pack it. Thanks.

First time I flew with my scooter, I got a big suitcase at goodwill for 8 bucks. Just take the bars off and you are good to go.
I have flown with it just strapped in my elyts bag though. On my flight to Chicago, they made me take it back and check it. Then when I flew back, nobody said anything about it and I carried it on in my bag.

I flew alaska air a couple months ago, and all I did was I had one carry on suitcase, and had my scooter all put together, but my scs was loose. I just rode it through security(took my bars off to get it through the scanner, and then just rode it the rest of the way to my gate, then took the bars off again to fit everything in the overhead compartment.


So, if I were you just bring one carry on bag, and then you can just do what I did and bring your scooter through with it all put together, but make it easy to break down.

I've brought it through unchecked before, and had people make me bring it back and check my bars, and go through security again, because the bars can be used as a weapon. Try and carry it on, but be prepared to have to check them.
