Really kid its not hard to make a deck and I dont think a square and triangle beam constructed steel deck is going to catch on anyway. Its gotta be 4130 chromoly if its gonna be worth a shit and its gonna weigh a lot. I dont care much about weight but I'm not looking for a razor as heavy as a Fuzion NX. You might as well just make a Go-Ped Growped

Triangles are the strongest geometric shape overall but also one the heaviest when all is said and done.

The classic "two rails and a foot plate" DIY one piece deck is pretty much indestructible if you know half of what your doing. Scooter frames need to stay aluminum.

Im not trying to fight with you im just telling you pictures or its bullshit. How am i suppose to believe someone saying there coming up with an amazing deck? I need to see backup or proof that this can be real.

Yea I don't want to fight with you haha. I understand what you mean about the pics but
I would much more rather show you guys a finished design.

If you are 100% sure this will be a failure, then I will take your word
for it. Maybe, I will use the deck for myself and not sell it, since you know
it will weigh as much as a "Go-Ped Growped" or a "Fuzion scooter". I'm trying
create something new/different and your going to be a jerk about it? If you
don't like it then stay out of the thread & I won't care for your opinion when
a final product comes out! Thanks for your creative "criticism"............

Jon i reckon the deck will be good, triangles are the strongest shape there is so you got a good idea there.
1 idea i would like to put on the table is, reinforce the dropouts somehow, because that how i break all my decks.

I'm 100% sure if you make this out of proper 4130 chromoly steel its going to weigh more than my house. Just a chromoly headset weighs 2-3x more than an aluminum one. If your design is going to be so strong then why can't you make it out of aluminum? I could make a half assed deck out of 4130 chromoly that wouldn't bend just because the material is pretty strong but it still weigh as much as the bricks you would be shitting trying to pick it up....

Personally I don't think you've built anything and if you have it probably weighs a ton. The reason I'm throwing all the negativity at you is because you havn't posted shit. You've been here long enough to see that Pete dudes Heavy Metal Scooters 1-3 prototyes. No one stole his design and he actually knows what he's doing.

Alright i dont think he would do all this and then just never show some pictures or anything so just give him time, because that would kill his reputation.

Why don't all of you shut up? I don't see you guys making decks? You all should be happy and not flaming him just because theres no pictures. His just trying and he WILL succeed. Can't wait till Jon finishes the product, then you all will be asking for a deck fuckheads.

Sorry, but until you get pics up..like ACTUALY pictures. Im locking this. IF you get pics of your Deck, you can PM me, and I will unlock your thread. But without pictures or some kind of proof...this thread wont go anywhere.
