EDIT: Sorry if it is already been done. It'd be cool if you could give explaniations, I gave about 5 or so in here.

Scooter Trick List

This is not a complete list of tricks, just tricks I know of.

Basic Riding

Kick Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? The most basic thing done on a scooter. The movement where a foot is taken of the deck and pushes of the ground moving the rider and scooter forwards

Running Start Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A movement done from a stop to gain extra speed that can not be achieved by kicking. The rider is off the scooter but holding on to the bars and runs next to the scooter until the desired speed is obtained at which point the rider jumps on to the deck of the scooter.

Carve Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A motion that can be used to keep speed without kicking or most commonly used to start a spin. The rider turns and leans into the turn at the same time which, done correct, gains or does not lose speed. Opposite carves can be linked to keep speed and gain speed over long distances.

Foot-stop Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? The motion used to stop the rider. The rider puts his foot over the brake or over the tire and places pressure on the brake or tire slowing down or stopping the rider (if too much pressure is applied to the brake it may wear the tire and make a flat on your tire)

Manual Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A basic trick where the front tire is lifted from the ground by leaning back or pulling up with the arms. A manual done on the front tire is a nose-manual.

Park Riding

Drop-in Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A move to get into a quarter pipe from the deck. The deck is placed over the coping and the rider looks into the ramp and its transition, when ready the rider pushes forward with the arms and lets the front tire tip into the ramp, at about halfway into the ramp the rider should lean back so you do not flip but more to make sure the back tire will roll over the coping smoothly

Foot-plant Drop-in Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A drop-in where the rider is riding on the deck of a quarter pipe, whether parallel or perpendicular to the ramp, and places the foot slightly to the inside of the coping and lifts up the scooter. The rider then brings the scooter out over the coping and into the ramp the foot is then lifted and put on the deck of the scooter. This is a faster way of dropping in where you can be moving or stopped unlike the regular drop-in where you must be at a stop. You can also use the foot-plant as a kick and gain extra speed.

Hop Drop-in Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A variation of the regular drop-in where the rider is moving and does a (bunny) hop into the ramp. This can be done parallel or perpendicular to the ramp. This is the fastest way of dropping in. The rider should know the drop in and foot-plant drop-in very well. The hop drop-in is a combination of the foot-plant drop-in and the regular drop-in. The rider should tilt the scooter into the transition to do this successfully.

Airs

Bunny-hop Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? The most basic form of an air which must be known to jump any ramp. The rider leans back bringing the front end up into a very short manual, then pulls straight up with the arms while pushing forward with the arms and crouching the legs. The pulling and crouching is to level out the hop but the rider should not over crouch landing on the front tire. The back wheel should hit the ground first with the front coming down after but gently. Referred to as a hop.

Regular air Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A regular air is pulled out of a ramp where the rider hops just before the end or coping of the ramp or quarter pipe. The air is what almost all tricks are added to.

X-up Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? An air where the rider turns his bars 180Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?° and back, when doing so his forearms make an Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Â¦Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?â??XÃ?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã? shape

Tube Grab Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? An air where the rider takes off one hand, reaches down, and grabs the tube. The hand is then put back.

One/No Hander Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A classic air where the rider takes one/both hand of and throws it/them sideways or back over his shoulder, the straighter the arm(s), the better it looks.

One/No Footer Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? Another classic air that is the basically the same as a one/no hander but with the feet. The feet should be spread apart sideways, again the more extension the better.

Superman Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A no footer where the riders feet are taken off and thrown over the rear of the scooter. One hand may be taken off and put on the rear wheel making a Superman-wheel grab.

Can-Can Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? An air in which the rider takes one foot off and stretches it in front of his other off the side of the scooter. Both feet may be taken off making a no-footed can-can.

Nac-Nac Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? The reverse of a Can-Can where the rider takes off a foot but stretches it behind the other foot. May not be done with both feet (otherwise it would be a superman).

Tail-whip Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? An air where both feet are taken off the scooter and the deck goes 360Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?° around the bar tube and the feet are placed back on. When the feet are lifted they should push out the way the deck will rotate. The deck may spin a double or triple rotation making it a double or triple tail-whip.

Barspin Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A difficult air that both hands are taken off the bars while they spin 360Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?° and are caught. The bars may spin a double or triple rotation making it a double or triple barspin.

Turndown Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A very stylish air where the rider does an X-up but wraps his body around the front of the scooter instead of crossing the arms. The feet should slide a little bit.

Stalls

Nose Stall Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A stall on which the front end of the scooter is on the coping but both wheels are in the air.

Tail stall Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A stall like the nose stall except the rear end of the scooter is on the coping.

Tire stall Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A stall where the foot is placed on the brake or wheel and the scooter is held in a still manual.

Deck stall Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A stall where the scooter is parallel with the coping and an edge of the scooter is on the coping. The wheels should be against the coping op the ramp.

Toothpick Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A may be impossible stall done on a front spring suspension system used as a front peg. The spring is the only thing in contact with the coping.

Grinds

Smith Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? The front wheel is below the grind surface while the back wheel is riding on the grind surface.

Feeble Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A Smith grind in reverse. The back tire is dropped below the grinding surface while the front tire rides on top of the grind surface.

Deck Grind Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A grind where the side of the deck is grinding the surface. Almost impossible, possible to be a stall instead of a grind.

Cross Grind Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â??Ã?¢Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?â??Ã?¬Ã?Æ?Ã?¢Ã?¢ââ?¬Å¡Ã?¬Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? A grind like a Smith or Feeble but done on a normal rail where the only contact is with the deck on the rail while the wheels are on opposite sides of the rail.

lol i am a noob, and i am new, but at midnight when your bored it you kinda just start typing. alot of the terms are from BMX, the grinds mostly. The other things that arent used i either made up or didnt know the name of, or since i have never seen any good riding dont know about. Im a noob here but not on a scooter. except if im compared to people that are sponsered or deserving of being sponsered

thanks but no thanks. this was already made and most of your descriptions are vague not to mention that many are inaccurate.

sure there are many tricks in common between scooters and other sports but maybe come on here and learn what scooter riders call them before you make a trick list because youll just make yourself look like an idiot.
