on inward the phoenix is 50 dollars more, but it comes with a headset and a switchblade brake
TSI
phoenix decks are strong yes, but tsi is just as strong if not stronger. I have seen 3 phoenix decks break, the headubes have come off, the headtubes crack, and my V1 cracked down the whole headtube somehow. i dont know about the new phoenix's cause i have not had one, but im my experiance, Tsi all the way
phoenix is for weight freaks.
so?? the regular tsi already comes with a flex fender. and for 20$ more you get it integraded <3333333
so 210$ phoenix << fail
180$ tsi win
Why couldn't phoenix do the same?Yeah, the old ones did break. So what? However, let me remind you how many tries it to TSI to finally come out with a deck that didn't break. JS.
So you're saying the phoenix is Heavy, so anyone that's a weight freak, go buy district? No actually it's not at all. That's Districts area.
TSI doesn't have "professional engineering"?I'm trying to understand how Phoenix fails. You pay 30 dollars more for a deck that has professional engineering behind in it, comes in colors, and overall looks better.

And,
Phoenix:Colors<Tsi:Head tube angles, 3 deck sizes.![]()
In your opinion it looks better and the Tsi comes raw because thats what we believe the sport is as of now. It comes freshly sanded and ready to paint if you wish, tsi has more professional engineering in it than phoenix has in one drop out. matt thom the man behind the mask has over ten years welding experience ,not to mention he created the FIRST ONE PIECE DECK! and has improved upon it since it came out. ever since day 1 we have strived for the best even if we didn't have the money to. you wanna know how much money matt used to start tsi?
200$ thats it, he sold all of his prized possessions so that kids like us could ride without worrying about breaking parts. And plus we spend time making the decks by hand, we stamp, sink, counter sink, sand, press the pop nuts in, resand, polish, and package. what does tom floyd do? asks an engineer to do it for him. there is no Heart! We still to this day try new things with the deck to see what is best for the riders. thats what we are riders making products for riders. and untill TOM FLOYD hops on one of his scooters and shreds the park THEN HE CAN SUCK MY DICK!!!!
Vaugn.. Phoenix is for weight freaks?! PATHETIC DUDE. Tsi's are hella light to. (In my opinion at least) Both decks are good. But in MY choice I would go with Phoenix, to me the headtube angle is best, nicest looking, SMOOTH ASS BOTTOM FOR GRINDS, nicest looking, And like rob said, you dont have to use a flexy.
EDIT! And Vaugn! Remember how the first TSI's we're weak? Just like the first Phoenix's!! And I kind of just lost all respect for you dude.
