wouldn't it technically be harder to spin tailwhips then, I mean wouldn't the round bars get in the way of the front of the deck? I'm pretty sure that's why they can only put the paper thin forks on scooters nowadays, unless you cut out part of the deck... just a thought.

josh toy use to mod suspension forks into "double armed forks"
take off the suspension and get some steel tubing and bolts and replace the shocks.

forks made of handlebars wouldnt be great because standard forks are made of steel and handlebars are just thin aluminium. It would be cool tho if someone made like mini bike forks with a steel pipe bent around the wheel, you know.

What would be extremely cool, and practical is if somebody made some kind of "cup" that goes around half of the wheel, instead of the forks. Sure it might look kind of wierd, but It'd be at least 5 times as strong as the forks due to better use of structural stability.
Wow I am some kind of genius! somebody has got to make that and it would be pretty frickin sweet!

Yeah, but now that I think about it, it's not such a great idea, it would also look kind of dumb too.
