Uber long fork

Yeah i don't know where else i'd post this and i couldn't find anything searching for it.

So i've got this like retarded big fork from a JDrazor old a thing. And its threads are like really high. So if i put my steertube on it'll go about halfway so i've got like an inch and a half of the threads showing from the bolt to the clamp. =/ And i don't know what i should do

Should i just let the threads chill being visible?

And believe me i can't get it down any farther. =/

File off the threads where you don't need them. You'll have like T tube reinforcement.

i finally got the steertube unstuck from the fork and i cut some of the fork off. like an inch of it hahaha.

so i quad clamped my scoot =]

save it for one piece bars. That's what I'm doing with my super long fork. In the case that I ever get a welder, I'm gonna make me some 1 pieces and put that on.

No, cut it. That is what ALL bike shops do with bike forks that are too tall. It makes no difference.
