Ugh, ICS.

My ICS keeps coming loose like every hour or so, and then i have to take it all apart and do it again other wise it stays loose. WHAT IS WRONG. I have a tank II headset, proto striker, and inward bars, the only thing i can see wrong is that the bearing cups arent in all the way, but i spent 30 min, smacking those shits in and the wont go in all the way.

use a drill to tighten it, I did that and it still hasn't come loose, and my bearing cups arent in all the way either, they r like 1/10 of a cm away from the ht...my ics works wonderfully

^^^haha thats the wholleee problem..srry my friend but you will need another starnut, just push ur old one in a whole lot so u have room for th next one, you cant correct a starnut thats in too far...o and the starnut shouldnt be in more than a bit above the slit

damn i guess this is "fucked up headset day" because mine does the same thing

if it is a little too far, what could i do to correct that?

my starnut was in too far, too. so i sprayed some hairspray in the bars. then i took the bolt and tightened it with the starnut and was pulling it out. its kind o f risky because you could strip the starnut. if you dont want to do that then just put a new starnut in.

yeah cut your slit off, it might be okay if there's a little bit of the slit left, but i think the slit is exactly two inches anyway, at least proto and rad bars. and yeah just hammer the starnut way into your bars.

Yeah you could do that I guess. Or just make sure your starnut is inserted in straight and try your ICS again

Star-nuts straight, tried the ICS like 7-8 times already, im getting fed up with it not working at all. I tried everything i could think of.

Nah im gonna go SCS as soon as i can pull together 65 bucks. Lol. Anybody got any idea why the tank II bearing cups won't go in all the way?
