Just film 4:3 like normal but get some tape and stick a strip at the bottom and top of the screen so you know you have to stay within that area. Then graham can crop it to 16:9 without any loss of heads and feet

maybe cos SR doesnt require to be constantly watched and he could be busy doing something and just check scooter resource every 5 mins, better than saying "brb" and "bak" tons of times.
