Uploading with MiniDV

I switched over to miniDV, I have an hv40 now. Does the footage ALWAYS upload as one clip, or am I doing something wrong? I'm capturing through WMM, if that helps at all. Because cropping the clip in a million different spots is gonna be really annoying. -__________-

mine did the same joe, i just captured it peice by piece, like go to a trick you want and capture it. then fastforward to the next clip.
edt. idk if you can do that on WMM

I have Vegas, too. I was told WMM is easier to capture with, though, so I tried it out first.. I'm gonna try Vegas now.

lol, switching to miniDV was SO stupid..

Edit- I found a program that works, HDVSplit. It not only captures the footage, but ALSO detects a scene change and splits clips for you.

Every time I text him, he talks about how he loves it. I put like $50 just into making this thing work.. I don't really wanna waste that $50 for nothing haha.
