i got em for the testing them and probaly the best forks i ever rode

really? thanks man, really makes me exited about my first threadless fork. they look alot like lucky ls forks. so they should be pretty strong right? andd, i dont really like using a threaded insert since i used one on my friends scooter. would installinf a starnut be better overall? would it be worth the effort using a starnut in the fork instead?

The threaded insert is a starnut man. I guarantee it makes no difference. If anything it's better cause it means you can remove it.

my friend got a threaded insert with his smx from vertx. he got hic too.
he said the top cap bolt wouldnt thread into the threaded insert.
what was up with that ?

He either screwed the insert in to far, or his bolt wasn't long enough.

oh. whats the ideal length to keep the insert in the fork? up to that little round ledge in the fork? are there different bolt sizes?

yes exactly, but measure the length BEFORE you put it in otherwise you might have to buy new bolts, not a big deal but measuring first is easier than going to the store

my bolt is around 1.25 inches, but you need the size of your shim also and make sure it is over your fork, then measure how long your bolt has to go down so it threads, even if it just threads, you can still tighten
