VertX SMX and French ID Fork Help!

I have a tough decision to make. I can either sell my v1 french id fork for $40 dollars, and then buy a vertx smx fork; or I can keep my french id fork, and ride that instead. The french id is over a year old, which is the only factor that makes me want to sell it and get the smx. I love the look of the frid, but it worries me that it will break soon. What would you do?

Ride it until it breaks, then buy the smx or get it for christmas. Youre not going to sell it very easily if "it will break soon"!

i would sell it your friend buy the other forks then when he breaks his collarbone because his fork broke bring him some roses and chocolates.
