vertx starnut in tilt forks

Just wondering.. Why?

I thought the Tilt Forks have their own Bolt

"The fork is internally threaded, allowing the top cap to twist down and secure your fork down with no movement or risk of loosening off. "

I would try to file down the original shim before driving a Starnut into the fork

Looks like you'll need the 7/8" Starnut since the hole is smaller due to the Fork being thicker

Mine comes loose after 5 mins of riding. I've NEVER had a scooter that stays tight.

ya its really annoying i cant tighten it all the way otherwise my top cap will rub against my deck

but when i get it just right i will start riding and right away it will come loose

The only thin I could find was in the description on one of the forks where they talk about:

"We have included our Threaded Insert technology eliminating the need for star nut."

and ya i already know what i'm looking for
