Video Cameras under $200

Well...my birthday is coming up and my mom won't let me spend more then $200 on a video camera...are there any out there that are decent for $200 or under?

i got my sony 2 christmas's ago. i think it was like around $175, not sure. stan has the same one maybe he knows. it worked great but it was droped so much it broke. so dont drop it.

if your only allowed to buy a vidoe camera under 200 then dont bother getting one get a fairly decent setup that will last you a lng time not shitty cameras tha you have to kee getting better ones just buy a micor scooter or something like that with that money

sony DCR TRV 260... i had it but it got stolen. GREAT camera for the price, but the price is low, so dont expect too much out of it haha.

I got myself banned.
Try to get a deal on ebay for an Optura 10 or 20, best 1 chip camera you can get and somtimes they go cheap as shit on ebay. If you cant get a deal on one of them, save up till you have like 300

im not sure how much dazzle is but you could use some old analog camcorder then capture through dazzle, bri could probably say more about that

go with the 10. its cheaper.
unless you really care about the massive battery sucking lcd. yes it will eat your battery alot faster than a optura 10.
and it has some gay features youll never use.

You could.. but its not worth it. The quality of mini DV is so much better. Dazzle would be another 60 dollars he has to spend anyway, you can get firewires for a dollar on ebay.

I had dazzle with the camera(big black) I bought from Bri, its SUCH a pain in the ass... Mini DV is 100 times better, for quality and conveince.

save your money and get a 3chip. its always better to spend a a couple hundred more and get a decent camera than spend 200 and be disappointed with it.
