Video question.

K, well I have clips that were sent through AIM. And I want to edit them using Movie Maker but it doesn't show up when I try to import them. However, it does show up when I just look in the folder they are in help please.

wrong file types, or the extension is wrong, the extension is the letters following the . example .avi .mpg .wmv, if movie maker doesnt support the file type then the extension wont show up, however everything shows up in a folder no matter what extension

Yea, windows movie maker doesnt support certain files.

get an online free video converter. and transfer the video types. i think windows makes one. or microsoft. idk?

or find adobe premiere, sony vegas, or that avid one? I think the last one is free somewhere. Those support wayyy more file types and you can do a shitload more with them.

AVS video editor supports a lot of crap and it converts anything else. use that. and when sending clips to people, either upload them on megaupload.com or use e-mail. its easier than aim.

also make sure that on the bottom of the browse window that the file types (drop-down bar) are set to "all files (*)"
