"vintage" Sharper Image Razor Extreme Scooter

Hi - Just found this web forum and happy to have found it. My kids are really starting to get into Scooters and we have a really nice outdoor skate park where they can take their scooters. I wanted to ask about a particular scooter I picked up recently...it's a "vintage" (because I think it was made in 2001) Razor Extreme scooter sold by Sharper Image. It's got the look and deck of the "pro" model, thicker neck, etc. but it has a longer neck that slides out as compared to the current pro. It also has a front suspension on it with two red springs on each side of the wheel....I've never seen another Razor scooter with this kind of suspension. Is this good? Bad? Rare? The scooter was at an estate sale and was maybe used twice so it looked new and was $15 bucks. I've had to put new grips on it as the orig. ones were basically dry rotting and crumbling.
Would appreciate any insight or feedback on this scooter. Thanks.

it actually sounds like the B model. very good scooter. strong and reliable,

mm you might be able to take a lot of parts from it to make it an awesome scooter. if they're really yound it should be fine but if they're really seriouse about puttng a good amount of money into the sport then i would say take what you can from it. its hard to explain what you can do to make it better but i'd say keep it how it is, maybe new bearing too if it needs it, and they will be set.

Original B2 son, good scooters. Scooter of choice by the original Razor team. The suspension forks will tend to get pretty sketchy when you thrash them out though.

The forks are not good. Regular without shocks is better.
