It was said in a good way since he is one of the few people on here that actually knows what he is talking about.

i understand that, but it is truely almost perfect to being a salesman trying to get someone to buy a certain product and he sure did the job i say.

out of all the comp systems i've seen, i think i'd like the rad HIC the best. scs is too big/bulky for me, vnc hd is just kinda ugly, inverted just seems too complicated/difficult to install.

only tradeoff of HIC is that you have to have bigger bars.

The HIC is good, but there's one major turnoff and that's compatibility.
You need 1.25" ID bars for the HIC to work, and since the biggest clamps they make are 1.375", you have two EXACT dimensions that you must meet.
They have to be 1.25" ID and 1.375" OD, which means no aluminum steering column, no lighter and cheaper 1.25" OD chromoly steering columns and a lot more.
Aside from that, I like it a lot.
It's light, it's strong, it's simple, and cheap, but the compatibility issue is enough to turn me off.

Yeah, only rad sells oversized one pieces, other than that there are buffs. This means unless Proto/Inward/FrID/ other companies make more oversized bars (which means stronger steer tubes... which is good) It's not nearly as compatible as the SCS.

edit: didn't see conor's post before i hit add reply.. lawl
but yeah, everything he said.

HIC doesn't work with buffs rob, the inner dimension is too small.

But I use HIC with RAD OG's and I don't plan on changing to anything else anytime soon. Its super easy and Its free with their bars.
In fact I just ordered crowbars because Im sticking with HIC.

wtf, no. They dont have oversized bars. We're talking about the inner diameter, not the outer diameter. If FrenchID would make OS bars, the outer diameter would be too big for any clamp because its aluminium.

Just wait till you see what the HIC will be ike by next year.

You can change wall thickness hella easy man.

EVERY pair of bars might as well come with its own shim.

Make the shim thinner and the bars can be thicker.

You need a bigger clamp but imo its worht it cause 1-3/8" is beast as fnck expecially with the compression shim inside acting as a sniffener.

in looking forword to being able to losten 4 bolts and being able to put my scooter in my locker!!!!!!

and another thing vnc rises ur bars 3 inches so u have to cut them and put slits in them

The best thing about the scs is how its so easy to travel with. Just loosen the bolts and your set. Only turnoff is installing a starnut, but if you have a bmx shop do it or order a fork with one installed, your set.
