VNC HD compression?

Ok so have like 300 dollars, but I need a new phone, new bars, and new wheels...so far I've been hating ICS, it constantly gets loose, plus I can't swap bars like i normally could. I dont wanna spend money on scs, and I was wondering if VNC hella dank compression is any good? it has the same principle as scs/hic...

My buddy runs the VNC setup, but he had some issues with it coming loose from his bars, but he made them himself so that could have something to do with it.

shityest thing ever. my freind broke his. i know taylor (the guy who makes em) costs him 5$ max to make and he just welds it soo badly it looks like u shit on it. and they dont work good and itll take 5 months to get if u ever get it............

A 1 1/8" stem raiser for mountain bikes will do the exactley same job as the VNC compression, it'll just look better due to being manufactured for MTBs by professionals

EDIT: You'll have to either tweak the top cap (a.k.a. file on the sides a bit) or use a smaller cap so your bars fit...

unless you dont want to spend money on oversized bars dont get me wrong hic is great but like 20$ compared to 55-75$ ...it works until you can get oversized bars and hic

honestly, an SCS is well worth the money, and you'll be happy you spent the little extra cash to buy it.

just see if you can buy used Proto knuckles, there are 1 or 2 up for sale right now in the sell your stuff subforum.
