weird hic question

I'm running a threaded dsa hd fork, and i was wondering if i got inward victory bars and a hic set off inward, would i be able to use them on my threaded fork? i wasnt sure if it would damage the shim or not. I have a half knuck, so i don't need a new clamp

it is pointless. hic is compression ment for threadless forks and headsets.

You can tom. just use the normal threaded compression, slip the hic shim on the fork, then the bars, and then tighten it up, already a thread anyways...

buy a threadless headset if you can, even a cheap one, and if the shim is chromo it shouldn't hurt it too much.

The threadless headset isn't nesesarry butif your looking to ride threadless in the futer, better buy one now i guess..

Great idea Jacob.....If you want you shim stuck in your bars. I suppose you could basically do complete HIC on top of the threaded nut and it might help your headset nut stay tight too.

well, if you got the hic shim with a lip, it wont get stuck, I have used hic crows with a threaded fork and used the threaded compresion and it's solid

Ya it will work for sure. I would recommend a threadless headset though. :/
