Take your bars off, take your bar ends out. If neither of those works, you either somehow managed to get a rock in the tiny hole under the cross bar and you're not getting it out easily, or it isn't a rock and something else needs to be tightened.

The only place it could be is in the Crossbar- and when they welded them up they could have left a piece of metal/burr in that Bar.

Drill out the Hole in the Cross bar just a bit bigger and see if you can drop it out that hole, you might have to go up in Bit sizes.

Sounds like you have a burr or small bit of metal stuck in your bars, very annoying!! As said above drill a small hole and see if it can be shaken out. If not squirt some expanding foam into the hole and this will trap the burr and stop it rattling.

There may not be a hole- I assumed there was since he mentioned one- I've never actually seen those bars up close.

Sometimes we'll drill a small hole in tubing (that will be sealed) for the welding gases to escape: some folks just leave the Hole there but you can also just fill in the hole with a quick final weld after the gases have escaped.
