Welding Foldy

my dad welds scooter for free. but hes a n00b because he told the welder guy on my new pro to only weld where the foldy plate is and it cracked haha and destroyed my headtube and deck so if he doesnt fix he pays for a new pro. i ride old a's now stupid dropouts i ride ski.

Lol FUCK thats a lot for welding, that will take them no longer than ten minutes! Lol But yes it is worth it, welding is a lot stronger and a lot more reliable than bolting but have bolts as well for "Optimmum Strength!"

thanks guys, and dont worry i'm not welding anymore. my dad bought some bolts for the foldy. but i might have to wait till early july before they start making the bars

yep, we've bolted it now, my dad still thinks it will break the welds, and yes we didnt do the bolts up super tight, just enough to stay in place. Heres some pics of my scoot and with the smexy bolted foldy

my dad bolted mine while I waz at a christain camp for a week and he took everything out but the foldy lever, said it would look gay without it, just a hole. and he said the bars would shift if he too the front thing off over the dust cover. can he remove that? cuz he said the bars would shift forward if he did.

i did this in my basement, by myself, for free. just needed a 3/8 inch drill bit

welding is fine, but just make sure you weld every possible spot
