Welding? instead of bolting

Could I weld the folding mech instead of bolting it? Or would that just shatter on impact

If the deck snaps, you lose the headtube too

Bolt it at the angle you want, then weld it.
then take out the bolts.

yeah, bolt it and weld it. so the bolts are reinforcing and the headtube doesn't move :0

specialy if you get strong bolts, so just do that

one trip to the hardware store is worth it, just pick up 2 sets of really strong bolts and your good
