so do u need anything extra other then a star nut and bolt? cause the french id kit had that sort of washer i was guessing for the commpression bolt, and i thought c4 carried that kit??

the french ID compression system sucks, but if you wanna run an inverted system on it, you need Andrew's bolt with the cap from the french ID one.

no, the bolt would stick out and hit the wheel if you're riding 110. the cap make the bolt sit inside it, flush with the level of the cap.

get the scs. or if you have access to a welder and a press and a lathe. do this

order a piece oh chromoly. any thick ness just a bit bigger the the ID of the fork tube. lathe it down to fit in the fork. then weld a plate with a whole at the bottom of the chromoly. cut it to the same size as the fork tube, notch the bottom end [to go with the curve of the forks and the bottom]. lathe the OD of the chromoly down to the ID of the fork tube. then carefully press it in there. now it will work witht sr inverted comp. system. and you have reinfoced frID forks.

Ah. Get a hold of a compression cap for a 1" threadless fork and see if that works. I would see myself but I don't have a FrenchID fork.
