"what do i have to do to get sponsored?"

I am so sick of being asked this question. "d00d, R U sponsored cuz you're sooo gooood you better be!" I don't really care about it. If someone would give me a free t-shirt or shoes for my riding - that would be nice. If not - that isn't a big tragedy. The only thing that annoys me is that with my today's level/style of riding scooters I use don't live very long. That's when the sponsorship is needed exactly, imho. When a rider is scared to front bri a huge stairset not because he lacks skills or balls but because he is afraid of breaking his deck

exactlyt matt i barely ride vert cuz street is alot more interesting and brings out the style of the rider
I'm probably gonna be one of the first to say this, but fuck this "ride street" trend that's going around nowadays. It doesn't "bring out the style of the rider" nor does it mean you're any cooler or better than all the park rats out there who can ride a park well and make it look good. It's all just personal preference. I might be taking this the wrong way, but for some reason nowadays I'm getting the feeling that a lot of kids are starting to force themselves to ride more street because someone respected said that "street > park" or something like that..

if you guys actually read what i said. im not telling you to ride street. im just saying switch it up and try to ride more unique. you can make park riding more interesting, all those old csc videos of those guys flowing parks looked sooo sick.

nah I wasn't directing that at you, because I've never heard you say that before, I'm just saying, that it seems to me as if there are some people riding street nowadays to "fit in" I guess, instead of developing their own style on their own grounds. I dunno though, might be just some phase some people are going through or something.
