what happens to the writing on half knuckels

what happens when you use oven cleaner to take the color away, does the star stay there

It made fade abit but I think it takes longer for the laseretching to dissapear then the anodising.

Ovencleaner is eats really hard on aluminium so if you chuck it in fast and then take it out the star will still be there

anyone know how long to keep it in there for?

Put the clamp in a seethrough plastic bag and when you see that the ovencleaner is getting colored it's probably done.
