What I think we need !

In my opinion I believe we need something like BMX's danscomp ! I have found it really hard to find a place that has all the parts I want. I know so many people who would take up SCOOTERING if they could buy all the parts in one place that they want. What it your take on this ?

DansComp is a retailer. Once this sport grows, we'll have more retailers and the ones we have will be able to stock more things at once. Remember, supply and demand. Why should they supply it if it's not demanded? And considering the sport is small, and retail is all about making money, it's not easy for one to simply open up a store and instantly sell parts.

FD has a lot, but their shipping is the most ridiculous. It cost more in shipping than a Boxes shirt for me.

that sucks, its like $15 for shipping a scs even though i live 35 minutes away

FD needs lower shipping fees

Seriously, it is the only reason I dont have Boxes shirts!

On the other hand, whoever started this thread provide me the money and I will run the hell out of a scooter retail online store! ;)

Wut- I though you guys only wanted Rider owned shops :0

Seriously, as mentioned the sport isn't quite big enough for a retailer to stock
"Everything"

You have to move a lot of product to be able to stock that one item that only sells once in a while.

FD should actually get OUT of the retail business- Conflict of Interest

They had a sale during Christmas that was 5-10 bux over COST!!!!

Why the heck would I bother stocking Proto- which is $$$$- to have Proto's Retail store offer the product at the same price as I am supposed to buy it for as a dealer?

Thank dog I didn't receive anything from them when I ordered.

I imagine that is why SZ does not carry Proto decks

Anyhoo- even an On Line only place takes a wee bit of work to stock and maintain stock in quantities like Dan's Comp, so unless there is a HUGE market, you won't see a Scooter store like Dan's Comp.

Hopefully some day.

east2west actually has a really large selection. Also, it's not overpriced like ecx.

Rider-owned manufacturers is one thing, but when it comes to retailers, people are always going to instantly go to the company with the best customer satisfaction and fast/cheap shipping rates.
