what is your opinion on my arrest that I got today September 19, 2008

Ok I am 22 yeras old I live in kaysville Utah and i was riding my scooter at a school doing some filming out front of the school in plain daylight and a cop saw me jump some stairs and then he came over and told me that i wasent supposed to be here riding that cause it says no skateboarding or rollerblading and i told the cop that its not even close to skate boarding or roller blading. He then told me well they shouldnt have to list every thing that shouldnt be ridden here. I then told him that most other places do list everything. he then looked up my info then he came back and said so are you going to leave the area and i said i live here in this area so why should i have to leave if im not going to scooter here and just sit here then he was like ok and gave me a ticket for tresspassing on school property and arrested me and took me to jail and my bail was 587 dollars and i got a class b misterminer how gay was that and i told him i was soorry if i was being smart with him cause i felt threatened but he was like that didnt even matter he was still going to give me the ticket and they took my scooter and camera and have it for evidence and i have to go get it tomorrow from the police department of Kaysville but i giot the whole thing on camera so ill have footage up soon. what is all your guys opinion on that?

dre is right, you didnt live in that school. so shouldnt have talked like a smart ass. so just suck up, leave the school for a bit and maybe go back later.
however the cop is still being ridiculous. but he did ask you to move and you said no.

entitled to a break now and then. No, I can't get you one

My favorite story is my friend Jim (who got the seatbelt ticket).
He stopped to help a guy in a suit change his tire. Guy shows
up at his door next day, in uniform, gives him an FBI/PBA card
and a letter of commendation for good service

they might do,what you need to do is help out a cop or something,slash his tires then help him fix it,and then wait for him to turn up at door to give you your pba card,lol

Yeahh in Philly there called courtesy cards. I have one, my sisters fiance is a cop. Haven't had the chance to use it yet though haha

Mouthing off at cops, trying to be billy bad ass is for 15 year olds. Ive been slammed down face first on the hood of a cop car, and had him snap my wrist. Why..? Because i was mouthing off like you were, and i got kinda physical.

He took you to Jail, and you got lucky. Your an adult..so if a cop, asks you to do something, you gotta be old enough, to know that you jes gotta do it. I believe only me and Chris Gascoigne are the only ones who had to do time in Prison before, and we can both prolly tell you..its not fun. So next time something like this happens bro, just comply with whatever he asks...saves you time, money, and the trouble.

seriously guys, stop the "i hate cops" shit. yeah a lot of them are power abusing assholes and such, but cops arn't all bad, many are really nice/chill people. i dont think i need to explain any more than that. and its good that we have them. this is more directed to the stuff on the first page and in the "i hate cops" thread, but im posting it here. from now on i will delete unnecessarily extreme and unreasonable cop-bashing. its stupid, immature and makes the site look bad if/when other people see it.
