Def. get a pro model first. Then griptape, then grips, then bearings, then wheels, then bars. In order of importance.
I recommend animal grips, green machines (if low cost), an eagle sport metal core front and micro metal core back (if you can afford).

Only get new parts if your old parts arnt good enough, so get the basics like pro mod, griptape, bolts for foldy, grips or keep foams if you like them, wider bars if you dont like stock. Then if your scoot cracks get reinforcements.
