what is the best kind i want it to last long im painting my brake

I recommend almost any paint but make sure you do at least 3 coats of clear coats.

i would use montana paint or beat which is a graffiti paint its thick and only needs about 1 coat and wont scratch easy. Also one coat of clear and it will be good, you can get montana paint at some art stores or online

but prep your brake well and use a good metal primer, otherwise the paint will chip off within a few days of riding

guireys is where i found it but my bf gets montana and beat whole sale price so i have a case of 30 different colors in my house with many caps and stuff.

If you can get it, Montana Gold brand. Or any Montana spraypaint.

i was about to say this. Ironlak is real good. Great selection of colors, and they have clear coat. If you prime the part first, let it dry then spray a coat of color, then after that dries spray clear coat. itll last even longer than if you put straight up color on, even tho it lasts pretty long that way.

And btw ironlak is cheaper than montana, when i bought montana i could only buy half as many cans as i could buy with ironlak. 30 bucks ran me about 12 cans or so, actually i think it might have been less. but i got like 28 cans of ironlak for a little over 30 dollars.

edit: i just realized youre painting a brake. soo the priming and clear coat is a bit pointless. but ironlak is still cheaper than montana.

well priming and clear coat isnt a bad idea, for lols, i painted my district brake with the step below piss in a can paint and cleared it and it looks soo nice, and its silver haha
